Spiritual
Jesus knew he had come from God and would go back to God.
He also knew that the Father had given him complete power.
So during the meal Jesus got up, removed his outer garment, and wrapped a towel around his waist. He put some water into a large bowl. Then he began washing his disciples' feet and drying them with the towel he was wearing.
Do you understand what I have done? You call me your teacher and Lord, and you should, because that is who I am. And if your Lord and teacher has washed your feet, you should do the same for each other. I have set the example, and you should do for each other exactly what I have done for you.
I tell you for certain that servants are not greater than their master,
and messengers are not greater than the one who sent them. You know these things, and God will bless you, if you do them.
I tell you for certain that anyone who welcomes
my messengers also welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the
one who sent me.
But I am giving you a new command. You must love each other, just as I have loved you. If you love each other, everyone will know that you are my disciples.
God is Love ❤
I can offer no excuse for those that claim to follow God and commit atrocity. Future, present, or past. There is simply no excuse! (Vengeance is mine says the Lord.)
and if it is wrong in your eyes to serve YHWH—choose for yourselves today whom you serve—whether the gods whom your fathers served, .., or the gods of [those] in whose land you are dwelling; but me and my house—we serve YHWH.”
People and programs alike acknowledge the need for something greater then ourselves to pull us out of the pitiful situations we may find ourselves in. None of us are immune to the present, fallen, human condition. There is none greater then YHWH God. And no greater love then that He (Jesus) gave His life for us, His friends.
While we recognize there are plenty of ideas (philosophy, theory) and beliefs one might follow we are highlighting those resources which profess Jesus and follow YHWH. God provided the gift of choice. You are free to seek other resources.
